| Produced for a factory sponsored one-marque series in 1992 and 1993. The series run principally in Italy also had races in Holland and Denmark. The Barchetta owed part of its origins to the stillborn 'Chubasco' from which it derived the backbone chassis and it employed the Ghibli 2.0 litre twin-turbo V6 as the starting point for the power plant. The 'Stradale' ('street legal') version of the car although contemplated was not, it is believed, ever actually produced, albeit that a number of the 'Corsa' (race versions) were converted by owners to this broad form. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
