Notes

By the end of 1953 the domination of the A6GCS met with a response from Ferrari with the 500 Mondial.  In 1955 with the A6GCS dating, the 200S engine was installed on a frame developed for a version of the 150S which had borrowed the rigid axle and rear suspension from the A6GCS. The 200S and 150S had been developed in tandem.     With the need to conform to the International sports car rules, the definitive version of what had been prior to the beginning of 1957 the 200S, became from this point the 200SI.  The fortunes of the 200SI stopped after its win of the European Hill Climb championship due to the cut back in road racing with the end of the Mille Miglia in 1957 and then of course the crisis at the factory in the same year.
