| Alfieri recognised the significance of the Mille Miglia from its inception and so produced versions of the Tipo 26 and Tipo 26B to meet the regulations for the event - the resulting vehicles carrying the MM designation. For both models the Grand Prix Motors were retained but the chassis was lengthened and reinforced, heavy duty suspensions were added and to meet the regulations they were fitted with a lighting system, electric starter, over-sized fuel tank, spare tyres on the rear, fenders, running boards and a fold-down top.
