Brief History:
Although strictly speaking a 4CLT/48, two cars were prepared with the unofficial designation of 4CLT/50, which featured a multi-piece crankshaft, lightened rods and other modifications to bring weight down to 620 kg and power up to 280 bhp.  These changes were sufficient to see Fangio win at Pau in 1950
