Notes
Prompted by the enthusiasm of Franco Rol and
Giuseppe Farina who wished to run a car at Indianapolis the 8CLT was
developed. Utilising the engine from the 8CL and the suspension design and
body design from the 4CLT/48 the car used a tubular frame. Farina
however became contracted to Alfa Romeo and the project died. The two cars
were sold to the Zambucka team in New Zealand.
