| Propelled by the
success of the A6 1500 and the post-war recovery there was a demand for a
more powerful version of this first production car. The result was
the 2 litre engine for which a range of body styles were made by such
coachbuilders as Pininfarina, Frua, Ghia and Bertone. Despite this
production never took off and only 16 vehicles were produced. |
