Brief History:
Despite the diversity of design with the involvement of coachbuilders of the like of Pininfarina, Frua, Ghia and Bertone only 16 versions of this car were made.  The engine was an enlarged version of the A6 1500 and retained the light alloy crankcase.  The coil spring rear suspension for the car was however abandoned. Although performance was improved relative to the A6 it still fell well short of what was perhaps expected.
