Introduced in 1969 to compliment the coupe, the Ghibli spyder was described by many as the most beautiful car of the period.  From 1970 it was also available as the "Ghibli SS" equipped with the 4.9 litre engine.  Only 125 were made.  A hardtop was available and the car also came with an automatic transmission on request.
