This 2008
Maserati Quattroporte S which has travelled only 2000 kms was a victim of
the Queensland deluge earlier in 2009. The car
was written off by the Insurer as a repairable write off see the
WOVR. But thats not the end of the story. This MY09 four door sedan with its 6-speed auto and 4.7 motor with a RRP of $323,800 AUD is being offered for sale by ManheimFowles out of their Eagle Farm office in Queensland. It could be an outstanding buy. You might be interested to know although it was affected by a fresh water deluge, the Insurer advised the water only came over the sills and into the floor pan. Wisely, the car was not started immediately and was only started once the engine oils and other fluids were drained and replaced. It therefore starts and drives. Reports say the engine sounds fine and it is near on impossible to detect that the vehicle has been exposed to water. |

informed that one of the computers may have gone but the other two are fine
as indicated by the operation of warning lights on
the dash. The Insurer has advised that cost to replace all three computers
is $25,000 AUD. The vehicle has all its books &
