Furthering strengthening the resources of Maserati S.p.A., Ferrari & Maserati President Mr. Luca Cordero di Montezemolo has appointed a new General Manager for Maserati S.p.A., Mr. Marcello Pochettino.

The presence of this new position is central to the continued development of Maserati worldwide. The research & development, production, management & marketing synergies shared with Ferrari will continue, with this newly created role boosting Maseratis independent identity and the formation of two very strong marques.

Mr. Pochettino assumes this new role on May 2, 2000.
